Founded in 1964, the Philippine Science High School – Main Campus is the flagship campus of the PSHS System, a specialized public high school system in the Philippines that operates as an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology. The 7.5 hectare campus is located in Agham Road, Diliman, Quezon City, a few minutes away from the Quezon Memorial Circle and the Quezon City Hall.

PSHS offers scholarships to Filipino students who are gifted in science and mathematics. Admission to the PSHS is by the National Competitive Examination or lateral admission. Out of 20,000 applicants nationwide, the top 240 students of the NCE are qualified to enter the Main Campus.

Graduates of the school are bound by law to major in the pure and applied sciences, mathematics, or engineering upon entering college. The system is known to have a very challenging curriculum which produces the best professionals in the country.
